Polyester PP/PET Strapping Band has become a popular alternative to steel for all but the very heaviest loads. Pound for pound, PET is stronger than steel, meaning that PET strapping with the same break load will be lighter than its steel strapping equivalent.

Mostly polyester (PET) strapping is green color, but Polypropylene (PP) strapping can be to many different colors, white,yellow, black etc.  

The surface are different

Polyester strapping is glossy green smooth surface, but Polypropylene strapping has a matte finish and is usually embossed.

The tension retention are different

Polyester retains tension over a long period of time. Polypropylene has low retained tension, often losing about half of the applied tension with an hour of being applied.

PP packing strapping band is one of the most common types of strapping, it can make to variety tensile strengths, widths, and core sizes depending on what items do you want to bundle. Mostly it is embossed, giving it additional strength and texture better friction.
