Im a first time strapper, and found this heavy duty kit very easy to figure out and use. From what i have researched this is a typical strapping kit set thats widely produced and available on amazon. I used a Youtube video to get down the basics of how to use the tools and each ones actual function. I found it pretty intuitive once I figured out the mechanics of loading the strap with the tensioner, and then feeding the the other end into the the other 2 circular gears which spool and tension the strapping until its just right for what you are doing. I used it to test strap 2 straps on a 40lb box. The strapping material itself is about 1/2" wide and of good solid quality. The tin metal fastners simply sliding on the joint (where you the ends of the straps overlap each other by 2 inches or so), and using the bolt cutter looking tool (chrome handled) to simply crimp the metal fasteners until its completely crimped and stamped. Worked like a charm the first time around. That was my 1st attempt and i didnt mess it up or waste any excess material. Overall looking forward to shipping bulkier items (wheel+tire combos, and heavy metal or irregular items which may break through the cardboard boxing) so i have an excuse to use this. Met my expectations. I found it to be super easy and so far very consistent in results. With all the this material now in the kit, i can safely say im strapped up for a while. Looking forward to a long service life from this kit. 2EZ.
